Andy (Am Ch Sporting Field AK's Rockafeller x Sporting Fields Ammardan's Noir Chien) is a wonderfully sweet-tempered and a moderately-sized black and white male who is owned in partnership by DuMond and Avalonia Whippets in Canada.  He hails from Ammardan Kennels in Ohio, but is himself out of the well-known Sporting Fields bloodlines--including, obviously, the Sporting Fields black and white lines.  By incorporating Andy into our respective breeding programs, he provides DuMond and Avalonia the ability to breed a Sporting Fields male to our Nevedith/European dominated bitch bloodlines and produce the fine melding of the two types, which have historically produced some wonderful whippets.  With Andy, we have the added bonus of adding black and white whippets to our lines!

In February, 2008, Andy was bred to our girl Eve, Can Ch Avalonia All Hallow's Eve and the resulting litter of six (3 boys, 3 girls) was whelped on 21 April 2008. This litter, our "E Poets/Playwrights" litter, included three black and white puppies (2 male, 1 female) and three blacked tipped/masked fawn and white puppies (1 male, 2 females).  One of the black and white males, Hemi, aka  (DuMond Ernest Hemingway) remained here at Dumond; the black and white female from that litter, Elise, aka DuMond Elizabeth Barrett Browning is owned in partnership by DuMond and Avalonia Whippets, Canada.  Although she lives primarily in Canada, Elise will be quite the jet-setter and will divide her time between countries (as her schedule permits)!
