Dy-Dy is the diva of DuMond--or at least that's what she thinks!  She combines the best of both her sire and dam (Can Ch Avalonia Wotta Jesta x Can Ch Spicewind It's All About Me!) and is a very typey, brindle & white particolor whippet who is great to watch when she is on the move.  She is the "party girl" of DuMond and makes it her business to get everyone up and playing whenever she has the chance!

Dy-Dy began her show career taking multiple best puppy in breed and best puppy in group wins in both the U.S. and  Canada.  Although Dy-Dy sustained a serious injury to a rear leg in the late summer of 2007 while coursing around the DuMond property, after emergency surgery to repair a severed tendon, she quickly made a full recovery and was able to complete her Canadian championship at the Ottawa Kennel Club shows in November, 2007.  Dy-Dy also has a Best of Breed and Group IV placement in the U.S.  We expect to selectively show Dy-Dy as a special in future shows in Canada, in the meantime, Dy-Dy will just party on at DuMond.
